Farm-to-chef sourcing in Western Washington.

Breaking Ground Co. launches in Western Washington first — Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula, Skagit, Whatcom, and southwest Washington. The platform runs a farm-to-chef sourcing loop in-region: growers list what’s coming off the field and chefs post a need, then the match meets a vetted courier with a refrigerator log. Listings stay free for growers so the kitchen you can name is the kitchen that lands your week.

Listing is free for growers · chef seats via subscription · fee per courier run.

How it works

A working loop for Western Washington growers and chefs.

Three steps, same region. Breaking Ground Co. runs the match and the cold chain; you run the field and the kitchen.

01
Growers post what’s coming out of the field, orchard, or barn.
A weekly listing, a walk-through video, a harvest update the moment the cooler is full. The board is public — chefs searching for what’s ripe this week see it before it’s gone.
02
Chefs post a need on a sourcing list.
A dish drops Tuesday; the kitchen manager types the ingredient into the list. The platform surfaces growers in-region first, with distance and seasonality flagged on every match.
03
Regional match meets a vetted courier with a refrigerator log.
A courier picks up cold and drops cold — a temperature and time entry is logged at the farm and again at the kitchen. The chain stays unbroken, and both sides read the trail at delivery.
